      2. Spring in Austin is… How Should We Say, Lit?

Austin is located in Travis County and the capital of Texas. Situated where the Colorado River crosses the Balcones Escarpment in the south-central part of the state, Austin offers up the perfect blend of blue skies and comfortable weather for those visiting through the March to September months.

Recognized as the “peak” time to travel to the Austin area, Spring in South West Texas offers some of the nicest weather you will find in the region. For more on all things Austin travel, check out, Visit Austin’s website. They even listed the top bucket list spots to visit while there, leaving out the guesswork for travelers to the vibrant Lone Star city.

The conference is taking place in downtown’s bustling historic 6th Street District, so attendees won’t have far to look for restaurants, stores and other Austin attractions. Plus, you’re just 20-30 minutes from many of Austin’s famed lakes, like Hippie Hollow, known to travelers from all over the world as an emblem of the ’60s with some areas designated as “clothing optional”. 3. Be Part of History

Despite Hemp becoming a legal crop in the Farm Bill (2014), Texas decided not to move on the once-booming, now leveling out hemp industry. Texas didn’t legalize the production of hemp, via House Bill 1325, until June of 2019, after all. While some say Texans missed the boom, others are more optimistic about the future of hemp as a viable Texan crop.

“I still believe hemp offers Texas farmers a great opportunity and I look forward to continuing to improve our program here in the Lone Star State. And with the legislative session underway, I look forward to updating legislators on how this program has been successful despite some very difficult times” said Sid Miller, Texas Agricultural Commissioner, in a statement earlier this year.
