      Richard is an attorney with Weaver Johnston Nelson. Richard’s practice focuses on transactions and advises on cannabis regulatory matters. Since 2013, Richard has represented a variety of cannabis related businesses and investors, working at national and global law firms. Richard represented the Texas Cannabis Industry Association, served as a board member for a hemp cannabinoid bio-pharmaceutical company and named a top 250 legal expert in cannabis by Databird Research Journal. Richard teaches cannabis law as an adjunct at UNT School of Law.
