      New Mexico (NM) Cannabis Regulation Act March 19, 2021 · Requires cannabis and cannabis products be tested for potency and contaminants. · All cannabis and cannabis-containing product samples in New Mexico must be tested before distribution to retail facilities or sale by licensed marijuana establishments. · Regulation and Licensing Department (RLD) oversees the licensing of cannabis testing labs and marijuana businesses in the state. · Cannabis Control Division (CDC) established standards for the testing and quality control of cannabis.

      Cannabis Lab Testing in New Mexico – What You Need to Know
      Thomas received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of New Mexico. Prior to working at PB Labs, Thomas spent eight years at an environmental analysis lab where he learned all aspects of analytical chemistry and instrumentation. During this time, Thomas also worked as a consultant for a cosmetics manufacturer to develop FDA compliant tests. Thomas has also been accepted to a MS in Analytical Chemistry program at the University of Manchester and will begin his studies this September. Thomas performs and oversees the chemistry testing for PB Laboratories. He is also responsible for chemistry test development and all chemistry data analysis. Thomas’ education and experience helps to ensure the highest quality standards, development and validation of new methodologies are met.
